Zed developed a passion for space, design, and measurements through his love for Lego and drawing. His interest deepened during a project at Ateneo de Manila University, where he built a scaled model of a bungalow. He later graduated with a BS in Architecture from the University of Santo Tomas in 2004, where Ophie was his blockmate.
Zed began his career as an apprentice at Recio + Casas Architects in Makati, contributing to significant projects like The Horizon in Tagaytay and One Gateway Place in Mandaluyong. He then joined Re:Source Partners Inc., working on mid-rise to skyscraper projects across the UAE, Hong Kong, Australia, and the USA, honing his project management skills.
In 2013, Zed led the Design and BIM Management for Okada Manila, one of the most expensive projects of the time, as Project Administrative Manager. His global experience with top architectural firms has led him to share his expertise as a college instructor, inspiring future architects.
Zed reconnected with Ophie and became a partner at Babista Architectural Design and Construction, aligning with the firm’s mission to build significant structures for the future. We are committed to upholding your interests and contributing to our country’s progress.
